Luz de pozo se inscribe en la poesía de factura intimista, es un largo viaje hasta los socavones de la conciencia humana. Los poemas de Luz de pozo son como una serie o sucesión de mini piezas de teatro. Las criaturas que actúan con sus virtudes y defectos gozan o padecen la vida, pero no son juzgadas por nada, más bien, al final de cada escena son vindicadas y premiadas con la esperanza. Es una poesía altruista, constructiva. Sin traumas reflejados. Es, por tanto, una poesía que importa mucho para la gente que necesita avanzar, progresar, prosperar, no rendirse. En fin, es una poesía que nos ayuda a crecer como seres humanos.

The well light is intimate poetry, it is a long journey to the depths of human consciousness. The poems in The well light are like a series or succession of mini theater pieces. Creatures who act with their virtues and flaws enjoy or suffer life, but they are not judged for anything, rather, at the end of each scene they are vindicated and rewarded with hope. It is altruistic, constructive poetry. No trauma reflected. It is, therefore, poetry that matters a lot for people who need to move forward, progress, prosper, not give up. In short, it is poetry that helps us grow as human beings.

Sobre el autor

Vicky Toledo (1960) nació en Boaco, Nicaragua. Cuenta con una licenciatura en Ciencias de la Educación, en la especialidad de Ciencias Naturales y Biología de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua y un Máster en Enseñanza de Grand Canyon University de Phoenix, Arizona. Vicky ha publicado tres poemarios anteriores a éste: Intimidad revelada (2012), Hojas en el viento (2013) y A la hora de siempre (2016). Vicky ha participado en festivales y encuentros de poesía en Nicaragua y Estados Unidos. Algunos de sus poemas han sido incluidos en una variedad de antologías internacionales.

Vicky Toledo (1960) was born in Boaco, Nicaragua. She has a bachelor’s degree in educational sciences, specializing in Natural Sciences and Biology from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, and a master’s degree in teaching from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Vicky has published three collections of poems prior to this one: Intimidad revelada (2012), Hojas en el viento (2013) and A la hora de siempre (2016). Vicky has participated in poetry festivals in Nicaragua and the United States. Some of her poems have been included in a variety of international anthologies.
